Who We Are...

Crossing the Jordan is a local nonprofit that is bringing hope to
women and children in need in Sonoma County. It is our mission to provide
housing and hope for mothers that seek to transform their lives.

There are women and children suffering all around us, everywhere. Thousands; lost, victims of domestic violence, sexual trafficking and exploitation, drug addicted, homeless and those being released from prison that pray earnestly to find a way to be
reunited with their children. The statistics are staggering.

Where will they go to heal? How can they get off the streets, out of dangerous situations, away from their abusers or drugs? Where can they go with their children that also need to be healed? Each of them are simply broken hearted, waiting for someone to reach out a hand of hope. It is our deepest desire to seek out the broken hearted, to meet them in their place of hopelessness, to remind them they have
a future… to share with them the promise of a new life through the love of the Savior.

That is how we impact our communities.

This is how we change a generation.
